Think Again!
If YOU think life is hard on you and considers your situation miserable, despite having a roof over your head, clothes on your body and food at your disposal well,
THINK AGAIN.
This is a stark reality that somewhere, people are starving and dying for lack of food. I hope that this may serve as a reminder to all of us that we are very fortunate than other people around us. That we should not waste food. That we should be thankful for all the blessings we receive each day, and stop complaining and wanting more.
Sometime ago, an Egyptian friend told me this “Do not look up but look down. If you look up, you will see the never-ending wide sky, if you look down, you will see your feet and the space you are standing on. You are living comfortable life compared to those laborers, those people who totally have nothing, those people in countries stricken by famine and war, the sick and the dying. Stop griping, please.”

Today, Xmas day
I am glad the day is almost over. I do not think I can say that enough. In this part of the world, this day is just one of those days where everything is work, work and work.
I guess this is one of the reasons why December always leaves me somewhat a little off balance. This one is no exception. Sometimes it feels like I am in exile in mars or in a box and waiting to breathe. I guess this is something like seasonal blues, whatever. (more…)

Merry Christmas Everyone
It is barely 2 days to go before Christmas. And before I forget, let me say my greetings to everyone:
Merry Christmas.
Maligayang Pasko sa lahat.
May God Bless you always.
This day is a regular day here in this part of the world. So, it is only in the heart that I celebrate. To my family in the Philippines, I wish you all the best.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Corporate Lessons
These past few days, I have been receiving different kinds of e-mail from friends, relatives, officemates, and from all over aside from the usual spam mails. I guess they thought I am homesick because I will not Be Home for Christmas or perhaps they thought reading e-mails is my work and as such I will earn my day’s salary.
Since I know where these e-mails are coming from, I am forced to open them one by one instead of putting them in the thrash and their names in spammer’s list. I must admit, some are worth my time. They really made my day.
Is there such a thing as E-mail Log (E-Log) where e-mails received are displayed like Web Log, categorized by sender, subjects, date, tags, or what have you. This way, we can save time and effort opening them one by one.
Before I start talking of something else or some of my crazy ideas, here are the corporate lessons (from the e-mails). I hope you learn while you laugh. Enjoy reading. (more…)

Of Wives and Women
Here are some jokes about wives and women. I summarized them from various e-mail messages I received these past few days.
I wish my mother, my sister, my wife and my lovely daughter will not see this. If they do, I hope they will understand.
When you are done reading all these, you will realize that some of them are true and almost all of them are very true.
A woman was telling her friend, “I made my husband a millionaire.” “And what was he before you married him?” asked the friend. “A billionaire.” she replied.
Men who have pierced ears are better prepared for marriage. They have experienced pain and bought jewelry.
